SUNDAY 4TH NOVEMBER 2007 – HOME 

 

A hard fought local derby ended with Wakefield Utd running out 3-1 winners. Goals scored by Adam Oesterlein, William Oesterlein and Oliver Vine. Arrow self drive player of the match went to Tom Eaton.

CLIFTON RANGERS

SUNDAY 11TH NOVEMBER 2007 - HOME

Wakefield Utd battled hard in a thrilling cup tie against Clifton Rangers. 4-1 down at half time, due to some fantastic strikes from Clifton Rangers, who are a division above Wakefield Utd. Adam Oesterlein scored in the first half to set up a brillant second half response from Utd. Harry Lloyd-Anderson scored both second half goals as a result of Utd's hard working approach and attacking style. Arrow Self-Drive Player of the Match went to Thomas Shann for an outstanding mid-field performance. Even when behind Wakefield Utd showed great pride and passion and left the field, heads held high having proved they can play teams at a higher level.

SCISSETT

SUNDAY 18TH NOVEMBER 2007 - HOME

Wakefield United U13's played Scissett at the Redoubt in difficult wintry conditions that made playing football a tough challenge. Jack Daly and Thomas Shann were outstanding in Midfield with Jordan Firth and Luke Reeves setting the right hand side of the field alight allowing Harry Lloyd Anderson to score the opening goal putting United 1-0 ahead. Scissett came back into the match to level 1-1and continued in the second half to make

HEPWORTH UNITED

SUNDAY 25TH NOVEMBER 2007 - HOME

Wakefield Utd drew to an excellent Hepworth Utd in a well fought battle on both sides. Hepworth went 2-0 up in the first half but Wakefield pulled back with 2 penalties converted by Adam Oesterlein and a followed up penalty shot from Luke Reeves. The Arrow Self Drive player of the match went to William Oesterlein for a brilliant performance in left midfield and special mention to Jack Daly for a fantastic all round performance in centre midfield.
