U12's Venue - Directions to Thornhill’s pitches at Thornhill Cricket Club

Take the A642 out of Wakefield towards Huddersfield passing through Horbury Bridge.  Once you have passed the Bingley Arms and the Hyundai garage you need to take a right turn onto the B6117 signposted Thornhill and Dewsbury.  You will pass Mitchell’s camping on your left.  Continue uphill past a church and the Savile Arms.  You will come to a sharp left hand bend and you need to turn right onto Coombs Road (there is a building with a For Sale sign on the corner - If you go past the Almar pub you have gone too far!!)  Carry on down Coombs Road and you will eventually arrive at the Cricket Club.  There is parking available at the Club House. 

Head out of Wakefield along Horbury road.Stay on Horbury road until Mitchell's Camping and turn right onto Hostingley Lane.Go straight on passing Kwik Save and the Nelson public house - on your right. You will come to 2 mini roundabouts at these go straight on about 200 yards. Come to a sharp bend and take immediate left at the Coombs.
