Thornes Juniors

Start at our home pitches on Bar Lane and head towards Aberford Road. Leave Bar Lane and turn right onto Aberford Road. Continue until you reach a roundabout. Take the 3^rd exit onto Marsh Way. Continue until you reach another roundabout and take the 1^st turning off onto Northgate. At the traffic lights you need to turn right onto Rishworth Street. Follow this road until you reach a T-junction and turn left onto Wood Street. At the end of Wood Street turn right at the traffic lights onto Marygate/Westgate. Follow Westgate all the way through town and down as far as St Micheal’s Church. Stay in the right hand lane and follow the road around the church. As you reach the back of the church you will see a turning that bears to the left. Turn left here onto Dewsbury Road. Follow Dewsbury Road. You will pass MacDonalds and Morrisons on your right. Continue straight at the traffic lights. Follow this road until you arrive at traffic lights after Petrol Stations on both sides of the road. Take the left hand lane. Turn left here and you will see a large hotel to your left. Thornes Juniors pitch is situated just after the hotel on the left hand side. If you have gone as far as the motorway bridge, you have gone too far!
