You follow the A642 Aberford Road out of Wakefield towards Rothwell Sports Centre, passing the hospitals. After the British Oak Pub on a sharp right-hand bend you will head down hill past the Graziers pub and a right hand turning for Stanley Ferry which is Ferry Lane. You mustn't take this turning but continue to follow the A642 but now look out for Stanley Grove Junior & Infant School on your right, shortly after the turning and more or less opposite the now closed Grove Park Pub. Park in the school car park and locate the correct Stanley United junior pitch, to the rear of Stanley Grove Junior & Infant School.
