Willow Park Junior School (approx. 30 minutes from Wakefield)

Head out of Wakefield on the A638 Doncaster Road.  After a few miles you will pass the Crofton Arms pub on your left.  Take the A645 signposted Featherstone & Pontefract.  Keep on this road passing through Sharlston and Featherstone.  As you approach Pontefract centre you will come to a set of traffic lights">

Willow Park Junior School (approx. 30 minutes from Wakefield)

Head out of Wakefield on the A638 Doncaster Road.  After a few miles you will pass the Crofton Arms pub on your left.  Take the A645 signposted Featherstone & Pontefract.  Keep on this road passing through Sharlston and Featherstone.  As you approach Pontefract centre you will come to a set of traffic lights, and passing through these you need to take the middle road which is signposted Knottingley.  Once you have passed through the traffic lights stay in the right hand lane of this road, passing Pontefract General Infirmary on your right.  The road now heads downhill.  Go straight through the next set of traffic lights.  You will pass a car sales garage on your left and shortly afterwards you will then see a car sales garage on your right.  Turn right immediately after the car sales garage into Baghill Lane.  You will pass through a set of lights at a bridge and will then come to a mini roundabout where you need to turn right into Harewood Avenue.  Willow Park Junior School is approx. 200 yards on your left.

 Holy Family and St Michael’s School (approx. 30 mins from Wakefield)

Head out of Wakefield on the A638 Doncaster Road.  After a few miles you will pass the Crofton Arms pub on your left.  Take the A645 signposted Featherstone & Pontefract.  Keep on this road passing through Sharlston and Featherstone.  As you approach Pontefract centre you will come to a set of traffic lights, and passing through these you need to take the middle road which is signposted Knottingley.  Once you have passed through the traffic lights stay in the right hand lane of this road, passing Pontefract General Infirmary on your right.  The road now heads downhill.  Pass straight through the next set of traffic lights and you will see Pontefract Castle on your left.  You will pass a petrol station, and the Fox pub on your right.  You will then pass an old church on your left.  Pass under a three arch bridge, and take the first right (the Yorkshire Penny pub is on the corner). You then need to take the second turning on your left and you will find the Holy Family and St. Michael’s school located nearby.  Park in the school grounds and the pitches are at the rear.
