Kellingley Welfare

Head out of Wakefield on the A638 Doncaster Road.  After a few miles you will pass the Crofton Arms pub on your left.  Take the A645 signposted Featherstone & Pontefract.  Keep on this road passing through Sharlston and Featherstone.  As you approach Pontefract centre you will come to a set of traffic lights, and passing through these you need to take the middle road which is signposted Knottingley.  Remain on this road (A645 Goole) and eventually you will come into Knottingley.  You will pass a parade of shops and see Morrisons on your right hand side.  At the traffic lights, turn right into Marine Villa road (watch that you don’t turn into Morrisons itself!) and then take a sharp left.  You will see Kellingley Welfare’s pitches in front of you.
