Head out of Wakefield on the A638 Doncaster Road.  After a few miles you will pass the Crofton Arms pub on your left.  Take the A645 signposted Featherstone & Pontefract.  Keep on this road passing through Sharlston and Featherstone.  Not long after you have passed LINPAC on your left you will come to a junction with the B6421 signposted Castleford.  Turn left onto the B6421 (Station Road). Stay on this road passing over the railway and you will come to a Church on your left.  The B6421 then bears right and becomes Green Lane, and just after you have passed Jardine Avenue on your left, the road bears left into Featherstone Lane.  Still travelling on the B6421 you will eventually come to a pub on your right called The Bradley Arms.  St Wilfred’s School is just past the pub on your left.  Turn into the school car park and the playing fields are just behind the tennis courts.
