Altofts Juniors

Follow the A642 Aberford Road out of Wakefield towards Rothwell, passing the hospitals.  After the British Oak Pub on a sharp right-hand bend you will head downhill.  At the bottom of the hill turn right into Ferry Lane.  Continue along Ferry Lane past The Ship Inn and over a narrow traffic light controlled bridge.  This then takes you uphill past Birchwood Nurseries.  Stay on this road through the village and you will pass under a motorway bridge.  Immediately you have passed under the bridge you will see a gate on your right hand side (which should be open for parking).  The pitches are located here.

Directions to Altofts 11-a-side pitch

From our home pitch head towards Stanley on Aberford Road. Proceed along Aberford Road until you reach the right turning to Stanley Ferry. Turn right and proceed along Ferry Lane going past the Ship Inn and Stanley Ferry. Proceed along this road, which becomes Birkwood Road, which leads to Altofts. On the edge of the village be aware to turn right onto High Green Road, which if you follow this road will take you to a mini roundabout. Keep going down the hill after the roundabout on Station Road. Look out for a right hand turn, which leads you into Altofts Junior School (before the bridge) follow the road around to the right and park up.
